2.- SERVICE INFORMATION
Through the website, ASCENTIEL offers its customers the possibility of requesting the contracting of insurance policies of limited duration. However, the decision whether or not to insure the risk requested by our clients corresponds, solely and exclusively, to the insurance companies with which we collaborate.
Advice on private insurance, typical of the activity of the Brokerage, is carried out through an objective analysis based on the prior study of a sufficient number, never less than three, of insurance contracts existing in the insurance market for the risk covered. This analysis allows the Brokerage to formulate an insurance proposal appropriate to the client's needs and that responds to all the questions raised in their request.
This analysis is not limited exclusively to the product, but also extends to the quality of the service and the benefits that the insurance company, whether chosen or rejected, is able to provide at the time of entering into the contract.
The total price to be paid for the policy requested will be the one that, unless the insurance company makes an error or omission, appears in the proposal that we will send you. This price includes all possible concepts, expenses, taxes, etc., so that you will not be obliged to pay a different or additional amount to that stated in the offer that we send you.
3.- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article 10 of Law 22/2007, of 11 July, on distance marketing of financial services for consumers, you have a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from the distance contract, without the need to indicate the reasons and without any penalty.
The term will be 30 days for life insurance.
This right shall not apply to the following insurance contracts:
- Insurance contracts in which the policyholder assumes the risk of the investment, as well as those in which the guaranteed return depends on investments assigned to them.
- Travel or baggage contracts with a duration of less than one month.
- Contracts whose effects end before the period referred to in paragraph 1 (i.e. 14 calendar days).
- Contracts that comply with an insurance obligation of the policyholder.
- Insured pension plans.
To exercise this right, it will be sufficient for the policyholder to communicate his or her decision to withdraw by means of any procedure that allows the notification to be recorded, by any means admitted by law, and indicating the product purchased, the policy number and the insurance company.
